Rama's Clothing begins with color, movement, and the possibilities inside a hand-dyed length of cloth. Each silhouette answers to the pattern already present in the textile, so no two pieces read in quite the same way.
The method
Nothing leaves the table until it hangs correctly on a body
01 — Sourcing
Saturated hand-dyed cloth is selected for its color movement and how the pattern will travel across a finished silhouette. Fiber details are documented as Rama confirms each piece.
02 — Cutting
Necklines, waists, gathers, and hems are positioned around the strongest movement in each dye pattern, then checked on the dress form for balance.
03 — Finishing
Tiered skirts, ruched bodices, halter necklines, and asymmetric draping give each textile a distinct way to move on the body.
04 — Inquiry
Availability, sizing, fabric, and timing are confirmed in a direct conversation — which is why this site shows estimated prices but takes no orders.
